In Summary...

I have breeding females and some of them are in foster homes where the families can raise and socialize the kittens
before they come to your home. You are allowed to visit my foster families or my home to see the kittens as well.
You can email me for more info on visitations.

We raise Color Points, traditional colors, torbies, silvers, black, brown tabbies, white, & smokes.
We allow them to leave at 12 weeks of age, but you can purchase, or order yours at any time.
You may also be able to purchase a Pick of Litter before they are born, with a money back guarantee.

If you do not have the time to spend with your new kitten,
please consider a hamster, a bird, or even fish.
They are not so emotionally dependent on their new owners
for companionship as these kittens are.

We believe that people should adopt shelter or abandoned kittens if at all possible.

However, breeding and selling these hypoallergenic cats does not deprive shelter cats of homes.
People who adopt our Siberian kittens are most often allergic. For them, adopting a shelter cat is out of the question.
Also, with people who work in service fields, there may be cause for concerned about carrying FelD-1 on their clothing and hair into their work areas and causing problems to people who may be sensitive to cats.

If you are donating to the HSUS or PETA societies, you are promoting the idea to get rid of all breeders of pets, such as kittens and puppies, as well as other animals. Their agenda is to rid the country of animal and pet breeders, state by state. HSUS and PETA are NOT your friends.
This means that you will only be able to get your pets from a shelter and you will know nothing about its history or lineage.

No one likes abused animals, but no one likes terrorists that try to control their way of thinking by tricking people into believing everything that is put on TV or ads that appeal to the emotional side of the way humans love animals. SO be aware of who you sponsor and also be aware that there are many excellent and reputable breeders out there. Support your local shelter because HSUS does not.
Do not support fanatic special interest groups that hide what they really are and want to accomplish.

Regarding Allergies
Please note that not all Siberians will have the same amount of hypoallergenic qualities, so be sure you test with the kitten or cat you are getting,  or are willing to accept allergies if you get one.
Refunds or exchanges are only given for cats that cause you to react due to your allergies, but they never include shipping costs, either direction.
Although most Siberians generally have lower levels of the protein that cause a reaction, that does not always mean that your tolerance levels will be able to handle even low levels of the Fel-d1 protein.
Tests have shown that adults with low levels do not always produce kittens with low levels. Also, altering the cats seems to lower the levels.
If you are severely allergic, please do some type of test before purchasing a kitten. Most of my customers have been OK with this breed,
but there have been at least 10 people in 15 years of sales, who were not able to handle the allergies.
Siberians are hypoallergenic
to most people, but not everyone.

The Heart of Siberia
is a Siberian Kitten

We have what is called Traditional colors, as well as Color Point kittens.

(A Color Point is a color pattern that looks like what most people think of when looking at a Siamese cat.)
Our Color Points are pure, native, Russian Siberians from the old country.
My Great Grandparents had them in Germany and Russia.
Many of my cats have been direct imports from Russia.
Those imports have been tested for  HCM, PKD, and Leukemia,
Color Points genes were probably introduced in the Siberian lines
from hundreds of years ago and more keep cropping out as more get bred.
The gene is recessive and when two cats with the Color Point gene mate there is a possibility of getting the Color Point.

However, as far as being 'hypo allergenic' the Color Points
seem to have more of the allergy producing protein than the 'Traditional" colors, thus may affect some people's allergy levels.
Knowing the allergen levels in these cats means nothing unless you know your tolerance levels. The best way to know is to test with someone that has Siberians, and the most affective way is to test with THE kitten you will be getting if possible.
Some people who reacted with one kitten did not with the second,
Also, reacting with the parents does not mean you will react to the kittens, so be aware of that.
The most often returned kittens that have been returned for a different kitten have been the Color Point kittens, but the new people who purchased them were not allergic to the Color Points.
So, it seems to be an individual cat to human issue when it comes to not being allergic to them.
Additionally, we have found that after the cats are altered, the allergen levels go down.

We also have pure glistening whites, brown Mac Tabbies, silver Mac Tabbies, shaded silvers, and shaded goldens, blue, and golden Color Points, which are also pretty rare.
We often have red (orange) males and high white Torbie and Tortie (Calico) kittens,
as well as an occasional Flame point.
The patterns they come in are spotted, solids, Mackerel (stripes), Classic (swirls),
Once in a long while, we have solid white or black kittens.

My cats are not raised in cages.
The mothers are allowed to have their kittens in a large dog crate for security and privacy.
These crates are large enough to have room for a nest box, different levels, as well as a litter box and still have room for mother to get away from her kittens when she needs to.
After the family is ready, they are allowed to roam the house and get socialized with the dogs & cats and whatever else we have at the time.
Having several types of animals does NOT make my home a 'mill'.
People who say that are uneducated worriers.
Stay away from those types, and read my testimonials.
Apparently they have not.

Be very cautious of those who judge people on the basis of photographs or hearsay.
And remember, buying American is much easier to get refunded or replaced cats if something goes wrong.
There are many scammers out there preying on American's good nature, trusting ways, and love of animals.
Shipping from foreign places can be as much as the price of the cat.
And never have something shipped from Africa.
Those are usually scams.
You can read some real scam emails on my
Scam page. See the link at the bottom of this page.

What is FEL D1?

The hypo allergenic qualities are documented because of the low levers of certain proteins in the cat's saliva, called Fel d-1.
Those who own them because of their allergic reactions to other cats will argue that owning one of these Siberian breeds is proof enough for them. On the other hand, many cat lovers get these felines for their wonderful personality, which is more dog-like than most cats.

What is FEL d1? FEL d-1 is a scientist allergen found in feline saliva. When the cat grooms itself, the allergen dries on the coat leaving dander (Contrary to popular belief, allergic reactions are not caused because of cat’s coat length). Dander particles are so small that air filters can not remove them all from the air. Testing in results for FEL d-1 fur samples by Indoor Biotechnologies, an independent lab in Virginia, in 1999, performed tests on a small sample of Siberians. The tests would indicate that in this particular study, about 50% of the Siberians have less FEL d-1allergen than the standard house hold cat. Note that the females have lower numbers than the males in this particular case study. However, in another study in 2005, the males and females had comparable allergen levels and a good percentage of them still had lower levels of the Fel d-1 allergen than in other breeds. This is one reason that testing for reaction is always a good idea if possible. Some breeders do not guarantee that you will be OK with the this breed and will not sell to families with allergy problems without testing first. Check out the guarantees with your breeder before making the purchase.
